The Zen range of quality tungsten darts is a pared-back series for focused play, free of distraction. Precision made at the Shot Darts factory in New Zealand, Zen barrels feature classic ring grips and push points that will suit most players and throwing styles. This set is a great all-rounder that will suit players that prefer a center to forward weighted dart. In a solid and dependable torpedo shape, with classic scallop and ring grips that run from the front to rear of the barrel.

Robbie Phillips Pro Shot Darts

This slim, pencil shaped straight dart barrel is designed for tighter grouping and limiting deflection. The smooth nose acts as an indicator for your finger to follow through to the “Circuit Grip” (patterned ring grip). This circuit grip features a thinner ring in the centre area of each block. Warrior 1 Series Shot Darts

Capturing the indigenous spirit of Pacific Warriors, the Warrior features tattoo design work from renowned New Zealand artist Ruatoto Henry. The flowing tattoo design includes the New Zealand fern, for abundance and good health (and great playing). With its bone white shaft and cinder grip™ (superfine grip technology) on the points and barrel, the Warrior represents a taiaha – a Maori spear used for close combat. The Warrior is a great dart for most players, especially if you like to grip the barrel in the middle to tail end. The barrel design features a smooth nose area with medium shark fin grip in mid to tail area.

Wild Frontier Shot Darts

This 90% Tungsten center weighted straight dart will help you scout out the competition and stay ahead of the pack. Trailblazer’s brilliant prairie blue Titanium finish is your mark of courage and badge of honor. This dart set features the revolver grip, our most positive and comfortable grip yet. This grip profile allows you to relax your finger but still maintain complete control of the dart. Trailblazer’s tightly ringed nose leads to a slim area of the dart’s signature grip, axial milled to a planed area to reduce reflections. A simple ring sits between this and the alternated shark fin grip area that serves as a reference point.

THE HISTORY OF DARTS

Where did the game of darts begin?

We’re all familiar with modern day dartboards. The wire frame, segmented sections for scoring, and all of the other identifiable features had to come from somewhere.

Darts and Dartboards are Descendant from Archery Targets

Of course, they had to be scaled down for indoor play, but the earliest dartboard designs were essentially the same as the targets that inspired them: concentric circles and a bullseye.

Over the centuries, both the game of darts and the dartboard have gone through many variations to become what we know today.
